After connecting to the RedVision® Pro Display to the User app with an active internet connection, the app will automatically check for available updates. If one is found, a yellow notification or download icon will appear. Tap ‘Install’ and stay within Bluetooth® range while the update runs, keeping the device connected to the internet. The process can take up to five minutes, depending on how many devices are being updated. If the update freezes or fails, users should power cycle the system, restart the app, and follow the prompts for firmware recovery or retry the installation.

Troubleshooting:
If the firmware update appears stuck or shows no progress, the user should wait for 5–10 seconds, then power cycle the system and restart the app.
If the firmware becomes corrupted due to an interruption; the user should power cycle the system and restart the app. The app will automatically reconnect, and within 5–6 seconds, it will navigate to the “Firmware Recovery” page to restore the system. Once recovery is complete, the user can retry the firmware update.
If the firmware update fails, a failure dialog will appear. In this case, the user should power cycle the system, restart the app, and attempt the update again.
