How to test my brake lights with the Tow-Pro Link

The Tow-Pro Link includes a brake light testing feature accessible through the Tow-Pro Link app. 

 

After connecting your trailer and pairing the app, you can press the green button in the app to activate the brake lights for 10 seconds, allowing you to confirm they are working correctly. The system then automatically returns to normal operation.

Before testing you’ll want to ensure you have your trailer properly connected and are ready to hit the road.

  1. Open the Tow-Pro Link app on your smartphone.
  2. Connect your Tow-Pro Link to the app. If it’s your first time connecting to the app, we recommend checking out our how to pair your Tow-Pro Link FAQ or the ‘Pairing The App’ section of the user manual.
  3. Once connected, initiate the Brake Light Testing function by pressing the large green button.
  4. The brake lights should illuminate for 10 seconds, allowing you to check they are fully operational.
  5. Once the test is complete, the system will automatically return to normal, without the need to turn off manually.
